Silicon Valley Comes to Cambridge

19th – 21st November 2009

At the 2009 forum, the movers and shakers from Silicon Valley will share their views about the new and innovative business models they see as the most disruptive across the Green and the Consumer Internet sectors.

Attendees and sponsors are encouraged to actively participate and will depart having thoroughly examined the latest in cutting-edge disruptive business models and renewed networking ties with colleagues who are leading the most disruptive entrepreneurial companies in the world. Silicon Valley comes to the UK builds on a programme that has been run successfully in Oxford for the past 8 years and the inaugural event in Cambridge and London in 2007 which received rave reviews.

This year, the 3-day programme features a not-to-miss debate held at the Cambridge Union on Thursday, 19th November:

This House believes that the banking bailout was a waste of money: how investing in innovative green and consumer internet businesses will do more for the economy.

The Friday will see a full-day of Masterclasses for students across all degrees and disciplines with a passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, technology. Silicon Valley iconic entrepreneurs and investors will share their experience in an inspiring series of seminars.

The last day of the Forum is dedicated to workshops for CEOs of local start-ups.
