News, 16 November 2010 - 27 Companies have been selected to showase.

Silicon Valley comes to Cambridge (SVC2C), is running a company showcase of Europe's hottest startups on Saturday the 20th of November.

Attendees will be given an extraordinary opportunity to meet these startup CEOs and learn about the companies that will shape our future. In addition, they will have the opportunity, over lunch, to meet some of the leading entrepreneurs and investors in Silicon Valley.

This CEOs who are showcasing were nominated to participate based on referrals from investors and then only the top companies from this list were chosen to showcase their companies.

We will be revealing the companies who are showcasing throughout the week. At the end of this showcase will be the 'SVC2C Company of the Year award ceremony' and a networking lunch.

Reid Hoffman and Sherry Coutu will announce the winner for 2010 who will receive mentoring from all the gurus themselves and who will also be sent, all expenses paid, to Silicon Valley to explore the opportunities for their company there.

This will be an extraordinary opportunity to meet and learn from some of the leading entrepreneurs and investors in Silicon Valley.

The aims of these sessions are to:

• Demonstrate the quality of European entrepreneurs to senior Silicon Valley executives and entrepreneurs, offer insight and thought leadership.
• Stimulate connections and engagement between entrepreneurs and organisations based in the UK and Silicon Valley.

Competition
