Judge Business School

Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge is a world-leader in business education. For centuries, the University has set the standard for learning around the world, a name recognised in every country as a mould breaker, blazing trails in innovation, science, technology, law and now business. Judge Business School lies at the interface of one of the world's greatest intellectual communities and the European hub of high-tech and entrepreneurship, and is thus uniquely positioned as the focus of an extended network of corporate and academic partnerships. It has regular and active involvement with many corporate partners internationally, nationally and locally.

The School dates from 1954 and is nowadays part of a dynamic network of business and academic connections: Cambridge University itself, Judge Business School, Cambridge alumni (some 170,000 in 74 countries worldwide, including several Nobel Prize winners), the surrounding hi-tech community of Silicon Fen, major global alliances such as the Cambridge-MIT Institute, business partnerships like Cambridge Network, and innovative initiatives such as the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL).

In September 2005 the School's name changed from the Judge Institute of Management to Judge Business School. Ranked 17th in the 2009 FT Global Rankings of business schools, 7th in the 2008 Economist Intelligence Unit Global MBA Rankings, and 3rd in the 2009 Forbes Global Rankings for one year MBA programmes, the Cambridge MBA sits alongside the very best in the world. The School also offers a variety of other world class teaching programmes including the Cambridge Master of Finance (MFin), PhD, MPhil and undergraduate degrees together with a suite of Executive Education courses.

The world-class faculty of the School comprises over 50 members. They represent all continents and likewise their research interests span the globe and the full spectrum of business issues. Many are leaders in their field directing cutting-edge research, consulting for top businesses, advising governments, and most of all, bringing their experiences and new found knowledge into the classroom.
